Going GreenSo as a first step towards this goal we will be no longer sending our Temps their timesheets and payslips by post. All payslips and timesheets will be sent via email to their preferred address (whether this is their personal one or straight to the company if they are a long term temp). Hard copies will only be sent through the post if this arrangement does not suit the temp, eg if they do not have an email address or have infrequent access to their inbox. Obviously we still need a signed copy of the timesheet each week - we still want to pay our temps!!! We are therefore trying to encourage timesheets be scanned to Lyn.blake@blakeandblakerecruitment.co.uk or even brought into our office in Venturers House if the temp is working close to our building. Just think of the exercise you will get walking to our office to post your timesheet at the end of your working week. We do still have our fax to use for sending timesheets - 0117 9154088, this might save a bit of paper as in the long term you could keep the copy you fax to us as your record instead of printing off another copy for you to keep. Thanks for your support - let us know your thoughts and comments. Hopefully we can save a few trees and a bit of the environment, especially if we all try to be green. |
